Danyliw Foundation

The Wolodymyr George Danyliw Foundation is a charitable organization created in 2002, shortly after Mr. Danyliw’s passing in April 2002, as a memorial tribute to a man who devoted much of his time to the Ukrainian community.

George Danyliw was an acknowledged Ukrainian philanthropist, patriot, lawyer and businessman. Throughout his entire life, Mr. Danyliw focused his energies on political, economic, social, cultural and legal issues facing the Ukrainian diaspora. The Foundation’s mandate is to encourage research, teaching and study of contemporary issues facing Ukraine and Ukrainians. The foundation strives “to lead Ukraine and Ukrainians globally toward higher levels of excellence in academic achievement, and to promote international awareness of contemporary Ukraine.”
