Invitation to join The Ruta Association
The RUTA Association is pleased to introduce the Institutional Partnership Program, a framework that promotes cooperation between institutions, focusing on Central, South, and Eastern European, Baltic, Caucasus, Central and Northern Asia studies.
About the Program
Our institutional program is designed for universities and departments, study centers and museums, cultural institutes and projects, publishing houses, non-governmental organizations, and policy think tanks to build channels for networking, exchange and cooperation. Our incoming institutional members will join a community of dozen organizations who stand together in supporting knowledge and cultural production in RUTA region(s) in a global conversation.
This year we are looking to work with institutions who are interested in expanding their initiatives, projects, curriculum, and participants on their campuses to promote a wider and richer engagement with topics on history, memory, environment, arts, trauma, disinformation, and imperialism, while also exploring new avenues for cooperation between scholars engaged in comparative research on postcolonial transitions, regional conflicts, and sustainable development.
Why become an institutional member?
Throughout the year our institutional members will have access to RUTA Newsletter and social media for the dissemination of information about programs, podcasts, and various other opportunities that may be of interest to our community. Joining the program will increase profile and visibility of institutional members, as logos and mentions will be posted on the Website and at the Conference.
- Free conference registration for one (1) member of the institutional sponsor who can attend our Conference without presentation and a complimentary membership for One Year for three (3) people.
- At the Annual Conference, our members will have a networking reception, at which ten institutions will have the opportunity to present themselves. Additionally, institutional members can organize a table with publications, join closed strategic sessions with the Advisory Board and Board members to offer their views on the future of the regions.
Cost: 300 Euro per year.
