Deputy Head of Mission at the British Embassy Kyiv joined the RUTA Annual Conference 2026
We were delighted to welcome Charlotte Surun, Deputy Head of Mission at the British Embassy Kyiv, to this year’s #RUTA2026 Conference in a personal capacity. We greatly appreciated the opportunity to share what RUTA is about, hoping to shed light on the conference as a space that brings together scholars, artists, and practitioners to engage with perspectives that have too often been marginalized, and to foster more equitable ways of generating knowledge together.
We are grateful to her for taking the time to join us and for her interest in the community we are building. We look forward to continuing these conversations.
The RUTA Conference 2026 was organized with the support of our partners: Uzhhorod National University and the Department of Archaeology, Ethnology and Cultural Studies; the International Renaissance Foundation; the Heinrich-Böll-Stiftung Ukraine; Razom for Ukraine; Goethe-Institut Ukraine; the Ukrainian Studies Fund; the Danyliw Foundation; the Danyliw Research Seminar; and the University of Zurich.
