Institutional Membership
The Institutional Partnership Program is designed for universities, institutes, publishing houses, non-governmental organizations, and policy think tanks. We aim to build stronger communities that share experiences and perspectives within the larger global political debates.
By joining RUTA, institutional members stand together with a community of dozens of organizations to ensure that the political space remains open, vibrant, and free. We are looking to work with partners interested in:
- Expanding academic initiatives, projects, and curricula on their campuses.
- Promoting engagement with topics of history, memory, disinformation, colonialism, and imperialism in the RUTA regions.
- Exploring new avenues for comparative research on postcolonial transitions, regional conflicts, and sustainable development.
How it works
We work with each of our institutional members, and, if necessary, sign an Agreement that lists the activities you want to share, amplify, or develop. Throughout the year, each month, our institutional members will have access to the Newsletter rubric to promote their initiatives among the RUTA members who are primarily working in and around RUTA regions. At the Annual Conference, our members will have a chance to organize a table with publications, join closed strategic sessions with the Advisory Board and Board members to offer their views on the future of the regions. Additionally, institutional membership can take different forms, where partners can: sponsor and/or organize the featured panels and speakers at the Annual Conference, sponsor receptions, and recruit participants for their programs.
Membership Benefits
